The traveller seeking the Big Five safari experience will certainly find it at Arathusa. With exceptional sightings of leopard (usually the most elusive of cats), lions and rhino in the field - a camera's viewfinder is continuously filled with close contact wildlife interactions. One need not leave the comfort of the camp to see massive herds of buffalo, and elephant families which gather at the water's edge. There is so much more to The African Safari than the Big Five. A veritable collection of smaller creatures add colour and character to a game drive.

No more than 20 guests are accommodated at Arathusa Safari Lodge. 10 thatched luxury suites each have a bathroom en-suite (with bath and separate indoor and outdoor showers), and a verandah for optimum enjoyment of the surrounding wilds.

Arathusa Safari Lodge rates are fully inclusive of accommodation, meals, teas and coffees, twice- daily game drives in open safari vehicles and a guided bush walk.



- Arathusa Safari Lodge rates exclude all drinks and laundry.
- Rates are inclusive of 14% VAT, and include SA Tourism Levy
- Guests will be required to sign an Indemnity Form on arrival
- No children under the age of 12 are permitted at Arathusa Safari Lodge
- Children over 12 years of age will be charged the full adult rate
- All extras must be settled directly on departure

Booking Terms and Conditions

- All Bookings must be confirmed in writing
- A 50% deposit is required to secure a reservation
- Full prepayment is required 4 weeks before the guests arrive at Arathusa Safari Lodge
